We have 5 beautifully appointed Bell Tents sleeping from 2 to 4 people and, new for 2020, a lovely 1970s vintage caravan sleeping up to 5 people; all ready and waiting for you to enjoy a fabulous holiday. Please see the ‘Accommodation’ and ‘Pricing/Booking’ pages for further information on the options available.  The tents are individually furnished with carefully sourced items of French vintage furniture, bespoke bunting and soft furnishings, quality bedding and linen and lots of little details that make all the difference.  Add to this all you need to prepare, eat and drink the local delicacies, and we are sure you will have everything to hand to have a truly luxurious glamping experience.

Sited in its own clearing in our delightful wild flower meadow, each tent is on a wooden base and they are well spaced to allow privacy and peace.  Kadai Fire Bowls provide a charming way to cook or have a barbeque and  can also be used to enjoy a genuine camp fire – with marshmallows, of course - well into the evening.  There is also a gas ring for any basic cooking or boiling the kettle for your morning cuppa  Comfortable outdoor furniture and a truly amazing night sky add to the ambience.  When night falls the tents are lit by solar powered lamps for convenience and outside you will find fairy lights and candles which create a magical atmosphere.

We are fortunate to have a number of period outbuildings and we have maintained the rural environment by using these to house the facilities on offer.  In our cute little ‘pigsty’ you will find your own fridge, and a microwave.  There is a coolbox and ice packs so that you can take any perishables to your tent at your convenience.  We have created a luxury shower room for each tent, yours for your exclusive use during your stay.  These are sited in an ancient barn previously used for housing cattle – but you wouldn’t believe it now!  A further large guest barn has been turned into a communal area, either for groups or for individuals' use.  This barn has three areas; the ‘bread oven’ where we can cook handmade pizzas and you will also find a library and games shelf, and comfortable seating.  The next section houses a ‘summer kitchen’ complete with a gas range cooker, coffee machine, kettle, and a dresser is stocked with all the crockery, cutlery and equipment needed.  In the third, raised, section you will find possibly the biggest dining table you’ll have ever seen!  Especially designed for the space, it seats 20 in comfort and makes for a fabulous party with friends or new acquaintances alike.  There are many quirky features in the barn and we have tried very hard to make it a special space whilst maintaining its rustic charm.

To compliment the dining area within the barn, there is a delightful marquee. This traditional cotton marquee has seating for up to 20 people and is ideal place to dine, relax, play board games or simply socialise. It is a perfect accompaniment to the Guest Barn and is an ideal alternative for special occasions. It comes complete with mains electricity and quirky lighting.

Outside you will also find a unique washing up area and our orchard can be furnished with pretty tables and chairs.

We have an outdoor swimming pool for your enjoyment, with sun loungers and seating so that you can spend time sunbathing, cooling off, or socialising.  A further, huge, original antique Kadai Firebowl provides a convivial group barbeque and camp fire area.

With a maximum of 20 guests on site at any one time we can also maintain an exclusive feel and with so much space and beauty surrounding us we are confident that you can enjoy your holiday to the full.

We provide all bath towels, pool towels, tea towels and linen so no need to use up valuable luggage space bringing them with you.  Your tent will come equipped with an initial complimentary supply of tea, coffee and sugar.  There are a few basic cooking provisions such as salt, pepper, olive oil and essentials such as washing up liquid, lavatory paper, hand soap and shower gel are all provided too.

We are happy to accept bookings from couples, families or larger groups.  Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and we can’t wait to meet you!
