In light of the Covid-19 situation
Fingers crossed, the summer 2021 season will get back to something a little more normal and we can get back to enjoying time on holiday as we all used to. However the coming months pan out, we will be ready to welcome you.
As with last season, we have planned a number of measures to reassure our guests that our beautiful, rural and spacious holiday destination is an ideal choice for your 2021 holiday;

Each of our 6 accommodation units is at least 30m distant from its neighbour.

Each accommodation unit has its own private shower room/WC

All communal areas (bathroom foyer, washing up areas, swimming pool, reception etc) will be signed to promote social distancing

All communal seating areas will be adequately spaced

Pizza Nights and Stargazing events are ordinarily great social events, we run them slightly diffferently when bound by social distancing measures but rest assured, you will be able to enjoy them come what may!
We request that all guests undertake to adhere to government guidelines and we undertake to carry out enhanced cleaning with appropriate cleaning materials.

About Us.
We are Nigel and Olivia Stanton, who bought a property in France a couple of years ago with a big vision of a new future! We have spent many years living and working in the Oxfordshire area in England. Since we married in 1991, every year we have spent holidays camping, caravanning, boating, motorhoming and self-catering, mainly in the UK but also in France. We have learnt to live in bijou spaces without compromising on creature comforts.
Over the past few of years life has dealt us a new set of cards – Nigel was offered redundancy after 26 years in the same company, family responsibilities have lessened and it’s time to escape the daily commute and to realise a long held dream to open a campsite! We began the search for a suitable property and considered all sorts of options along the way, finally deciding upon the Glamping route.
Now we have transformed our new property into a peaceful holiday destination for you, your family and friends to enjoy the countryside, with nature all around and rediscovering a simple but comfortable way of life.

In May 2018 we opened our small, exclusive, Glamping site on the Limousin/Auvergne border – a beautifully rural area in the centre of France with great transport links by road and air (Limoges airport is an easy 2 hours away and Clermont Ferrand is even closer, just over an hour away both of which are served by low price flights from various UK airports).
We welcome bookings from those needing just one tent, a number of families holidaying together, or even group bookings for the whole site (special birthday, anniversary celebrations maybe?). Dogs accepted by prior arrangement.
